Direct-to-Plate
With the help of Creo's unique thermal computer-to-plate (CTP) technology, we have evolved to a fully digital workflow. With CTP, the digital art you create remains digital throughout the pre-press process, and right onto the printing plate. Registration remains intact. Art stays crisp. Photos, shadings, background tints – even the subtlest gradations, right down to the smallest shadow dot – all plate and print with absolute precision.
Direct Imaging
Direct Imaging or (DI) is the bridge between electronic prepress systems and true offset printing. The DI allows digital data to be sent directly to the printing press using direct-to-press, non-photographic technology. No more film, chemistry or toxic emissions! The DI takes advantage of an entirely different technology known as dry lithography, or waterless printing. DI printing addresses the quick turnaround, short-run, four-color process printing demand and offers the highest quality, most cost-effective solution on the market today.
Digital Asset Management
Since most project data entering the pre-press stage is digital these days, and movement of data back and forth between designers and prepress suppliers is rapid and constant, the chance for misplacing or sending incorrect files or versions of files has increased substantially. SVH’s digital asset management system organizes our clients’ assets so that not only internal production is streamlined but also most customer requests are handled digitally.
